AAA APPROVED AUTO REPAIR NETWORK
The AAA Approved Auto Repair (AAR) program was created in 1975 to help members, and the general motoring public, identify high-quality automotive repair facilities. At present, there are approximately 8,000 approved repair facilities in North America. Repair shops that participate in the AAR program must meet stringent standards, employ ASE or OEM certified technicians, maintain a 90 percent or better customer satisfaction rating, and offer a minimum 12-month/12,000-mile parts and labor warranty. In addition, AAR facilities agree that AAA can investigate any dispute between the repair facility and a member, with the facility being bound by AAA’s decision.
